These auction catalogs are from Christie’s, Sotheby’s and a few other auction houses. Beautifully and lavishly printed in deluxe color on glossy stock, as fitting for items that are offered for millions of dollars, these are stunning examples of state-of-the-art color printing as well as a fascinating way to experience current art trends. Most of these are of post-war and contemporary art and many of them feature Warhol, Calder, Bacon, Hirst, Twombly, Hockney, DeKooning, Close, Serra, Basquiat, Oldenburg and similar contemporary artists.  Most of these catalogs average $45-50 new from the auction houses.
